South Downs Way

The South Downs Way is a 160km trail (100 miles) within the South Downs National Park. Beginning at Winchester in Hampshire, it stretches all the way across West Sussex to Beachy Head in Eastbourne, East Sussex and is an official National Trail.

Titty Hill Farm is located about a third of the way along the trail from Winchester, closest to the Cocking Hill section of the trail approximately which is 8 miles away. It’s an ideal point to take a break for a couple of days, explore the area and pretty market town of Midhurst. Walkers choose a variety of ways to complete the trail, from attempting it in one long stretch, or over several weekends. It typically takes around 7-9 days if walking around 12-15 miles each day.

It is a breathtaking walk taking in varied terrain and and scenery, achievable for those with a reasonable level of fitness.
